Chronicle
Export demands multilingualism. Brochures, medical package inserts or user manuals must be precisely understood in each export country. Gabriele Neumayr-Stof recognised this need and founded a translation agency in 1990. Today, with a turnover of around five million euros (2013), eurocom is clearly the number one in the Austrian translation market and is one of the 25 largest translation service providers in Western Europe.
The secret of this translation specialist, which has held EN 15038 certification since 2007, lies in the use of innovative language technology, sophisticated process and quality management, a first-rate team and translators specifically selected to meet each individual requirement, who are all native speakers in the relevant target language.
In 2000, Klaus Fleischmann came in as a joint partner and, thanks to the innovative language and terminology software solutions of his second company, Kaleidoscope GmbH, continued to build upon eurocom‘s leading position.
In 2011, founder Gabriele Neumayr-Stof left the company altogether, handed its management and her shares over to Klaus Fleischmann and Anita Wilson, who had already played a major role in determining eurocom‘s fate as Head of Operations.
